​​​​Damon brings a blend of legal and financial experience to help investors navigate the risks of buying a franchise.  ​Damon began his career in the transaction advisory practice of a global public accounting firm where he conducted financial due diligence on small and middle market companies being acquired by private equity firms.​ He moved into middle market banking where he underwrote commercial loan applications and risk-rated companies based on cash flow strength. ​​

 

As an attorney, Damon practices franchise law and commercial litigation.​ Unlike a traditional franchise attorney whose role is often focused on compliance review and contract interpretation, Damon’s work emphasizes the financial and operational realities that drive return on investment. His analysis connects the legal terms of a franchise agreement to their real-world economic impact, helping investors understand not just what they are signing, but how those legal obligations affect long-term profitability and business performance.
