Damon brings a rare blend of financial, business, and legal experience to commercial disputes. He began his career in the transaction advisory practice of a global public accounting firm, where he conducted financial due diligence on small and middle-market companies being acquired by private equity firms. He later moved into middle-market banking, where he underwrote commercial loans and risk rated companies based on cash flow, and structured loan covenants to mitigate the risk of default.

As an attorney, Damon practices commercial litigation. He brings particular depth in contract law, informed by almost two decades of teaching and studying contracts. His background in business and litigation enables him to understand the legal issues and the operational, policy, and business realities driving a dispute. He uses that perspective to develop practical strategies for resolving disputes through negotiation or litigation.
